Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT), pertaining to the Cultural Outreach sector of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, plays an important and unique role in documenting the Egyptian cultural heritage in its tangible and intangible aspects on one side and the Egyptian natural heritage of protectorates and wild life on the other side. CULTNAT-BA contributed throughout 20 years in documenting and disseminating knowledge about Egyptian heritage by executing many projects– in cooperation with ministries and governmental institutions- in addition to specialized local and international bodies. CULTNAT- BA is keen on growing the awareness of cultural and natural heritage that form the Egyptian consciousness, employing the various available channels, caring for offering specialized training as capacity building for those working in the field of documenting cultural and natural heritage and their protection.
